I've once again been busy, so here are the scores of the past few games.
New York won once again by a score 2-1, sending Pittsburgh home empty-handed. All 5 games ended in an identical score. Final score: Rangers- 2, Penguins- 1 (OT); Rangers win series, 4-1.
The Lightning got struck yesterday, giving up 4 goals, and getting none back. Final score: Red Wings- 4, Lightning- 0.
Red Wings lead series, 3-2.
The New YorK Islanders did not disappoint a home crowd, downing the Capitals 3-1. This could have been the last game played at Nassau Coliseum, but the Islanders pulled through. The series is tied at 3-3.
The Nashville Predators were sent home early by the Chicago Blachawks, who put together a miraculous come behind win. At the end of the first period, threes were wild at the united Center, where the score was tied 3-3. Duncan Keith made like a mailman and delivered the game-winner in the dying minutes of the third period. Final score: Blackhawks- 4, Predators- 3; Blackhawks win series, 4-2
Calgary lit up RYan Miller and the CAnucks, smoking them by a score of 7-4. In one of the highest scoring games of the first round, Vancouver faced elimination and came up short. Final score: Flames- 7, Canucks- 4; Flames win series, 4-2.
Despite a first place Central Division finish, the Blues couldn't get their act together in the postseason. Minnesota put them away in 6 games, capping the series in Minneapolis. Final score: Wild- 4, Blues- 1; Wild win series, 4-2.
The Senators started, but couldn't finish a series comeback, previously being down 3-0. IN an attempt to force a game 7, after winning the past 2 match-ups, they couldn't conjure a goal past Montreal goalie, Carey Price. Final score; Canadiens- 2, Senators- 0; Canadiens win series, 4-2.
